What can I say MTV made up for last year's mess. The show was outstanding with all the performers doing a great job, I'd give the show an A+!
The show first started off with Britney opening the show.
Rihanna then rocked it out with "Disturbia"

Then host Russell Brand put some jokes on The Jonas Brothers!
The Jo Bros. were the first of the night to perform on the Paramount Lots!

This is the latest single from Christina Aguilera called, "Keeps Gettin' Better". It is one of the two new songs on her upcoming greatest hits compilation, "Keeps Gettin' Better, A Decade of Hits" due to be released early November. Christina confirmed on Thurs. that she will be perfroming this song, and "Genie In A Bottle" on the VMA's sunday night. She also said that the new album will be futuristic, comparing to the last album which went back to the 20's and 30's. Definitally check it out!VMA 2008 Update
